Regardless of some severe anxiety I have with dentists, they always do their best to help you feel comfortable.

All I can say is that Dr. Horovitz.is the best Ever dentist I have EVER been to. Not just saying that.. He Really is the best... Wish I would have met him years ago. I have had several extractions in my life from other dentist that left me never wanting to go to a dentist again.. I had needed an extraction for a very long time and was so fearful of having an extraction that I kept putting it off and it would keep getting infected.... I really liked his personality the first time I met him and I also like how he explained the extraction process and made me feel very comfortable and I trusted him to do it. He was amazing. He had my tooth out in about 2 minutes. So if you are looking for an amazing dentist with a awesome dental assistants as well. Look no further... You are at the right place.. Forget the rest Dr. Horovitz the Best . I

Wonderful place to visit make you feel like home

I have been going to them since I moved back to Florida in 2012. I have been to MANY MANY dentists in my lifetime. I would not switch to another. Dr H always does a great job.

I went to Coast Dental yesterday for an emergency visit and I have to be Honest... Dr. Horovitz and his team are Absolutely Fantastic. The most honest, comfortable dentist office I have been to in a very long time. Dr. Horovitz explains everything he is doing and the whole staff has a sense of humor and is really very caring. I learned so much yesterday and they helped me so much. I would Highly Recommend them. I truly can’t say enough good things about this office. Thank you Dr. Horovitz and all the staff you guys made my experience a wonderful one.

The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. Everything is explained clearly to you. My whole family is now using this office. My teenage son was pleasantly surprised that he actually enjoyed his dentist trip! My husband refers to them as the gentle dentist. I am impressed with the entire staff and with time being valuable to me I am thankful that this office runs on schedule.

I've never encountered a dental practice that employs higher standards in dental care. Cleanings at other dental offices seem like a surface "brush over" of the teeth's surface & a quick polishing. However cleanings at Coast Dental Port Richey are very detailed in depth cleaning that is anything but a "brush over". They also teach patients how to properly take care of their teeth. I now have a water flosser & sonic electric toothbrush! Thank you Coast Dental Port Richey & Dr. Horowitz & his excellent staff!

Dr Horovitz & my hygenist, Chrissy are wonderful!

In all my 68 yrs hv never encountered such an engaging & efficient medical or dental staff. They unmasked a fraudulent dental treatment plan from another practice, going over my x-rays & providing a dental treatment plan costing 1/4th the proposed plan of another practice that lied stating I had a cavity in every tooth. Coast Dental saved me thousands of dollars in fraudulent work by the other practice. They are honest, efficient, patient to answer questions & review one's x-rays & work needed. Dr. Horovitz is a caring & very kind dentist with dental expertise of 18 yrs in his profession! Thank you, Coast Dental!

From the moment I called for an appointment, I was sold on coast dentistry. In intense pain, I thought I wouldn't be able to make an appointment. Surprise! They got me in right away and everyone was super nice and professional and made me feel cared about. Not a big fan of dental visits, I won't hesitate to go back. I am 28yrs old. Stopped going to the dentist at 16. My tooth decayed and needed a root canal. I was petrified from childhood experiences. The dr at this location (port richey Home Depot) and their nursing staff made me feel secure and aware of what they needed to do. I will be recommending him and his staff to everyone I know and talk to !!

I was only supposed to get X-rays done but they fit me in to get 3 fillings done right then also . I was happy.

Very nice dentist sensitive to my feelings,the hygienist was too wished I remembered her name but having to have teeth pulled and fitted with denture they were very understanding how badly it upset me and are really very compassionate on my visits. I had an emergency cracked tooth and Judy was able to get me in with Doc in 4 hours the same day. He was able to fix my tooth without anesthesia. They are fabulous and I am very happy that my insurance company fount this office of Coast Dental and Dr.Horowitz.

The Dentist will go above and beyond for everyone and I've seen this happening before my eyes for many years now. I had a hard procedure and the whole staff showed such caring and humor to get me through it.

The Doctor and Technicians were great. The time it takes to get a partial plate is rediculous, I will go to a place where they make their partials and dentures in house.

There was a mishap with the insurance approval but the office staff took action and jumped to fix the problem. I was still able to get care the same day! I'm feeling so much better and I can't wait to return to finish my dental care. Also, the dentist was really funny and helped to ease my anxiety about the procedure.

This is the greatest office ever!! I live 2hrs away and travel to see this fine staff. Dr. Horovitz is the most caring and gentle dentist that I have ever seen. Second dentist visited because of 3 infected teeth. First refused to provide antibiotic prescription unless I agreed to sign for a ultra expensive course of treatment. Coast Dental not only provided the needed prescription but pulled the 3 teeth at a reduced rate 10 days later. They also quoted a course of treatment considerably cheaper than the first dentist involving more total work. Dr Scott Horowitz is the best dentist I've ever encountered.

We have been to this office twice. I really like the staff there. Everyone is so nice. I have not had to wait very long either. They have gotten my daughter in and out very quickly on both visits. I was impressed! I drive from about an hour away to come to this office, and I don't mind at all. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a GREAT dentist office.

When I first walked in here, I liked the fact they didn't judge me for not going to dentist for years as I felt bad enough. They did everything they could to just help me with my teeth problems and even applied common sense so I only get the treatment I really needed. The staff at front desk are friendly and dentist is so a likeable guy. The atmosphere feels light hearted and they don't take everything too serious. Highly recommend them!

We've gone here for a few years and although my son can be difficult at times, Dr. Horovitz has always been wonderful. Staff is competent and friendly which is rare these days. We are very happy with Dr. Scott's practice.

I was greeted kindly by the hygienist assistant , Arielle. Arielle took my X-rays painlessly and quickly. Then I went on to ,Bethany, the dental hygienist. She was very knowledgeable and she took the time to explain all the procedures. She did a thorough job cleaning my teeth and it was virtually painless. It was a good visit to the dentist.

I was nervous about going to a new dentist since it's been so long but the staff was amazing. Very polite and easy to talk to. I had a great experience and will be definitely going back.

My mouth is a challenge, as you never know what you might find in it or what might come out of it. Dr. Horowitz is the most able on the planet to deal with all those issues successfully on a long-term basis!

Folks at Coast Dental are the best...starting with Judy (so patient and accommodating!) & Ro (ditto) up front... to Bethany-ace-hygienist... to whole friendly crew culminating with Dr Scott (Scott Horvitz) who is super-competent, compassionate, gentle-all the things you'd want your dentist to be.

I feel like the service delivery for the cleaning was very high tech, precise and as always was offered on the highest level possible.

GREAT SERVICE

Dr. Horovitz took care of two crowns and a root canal for me and did an excellent job. I still have to go back for one more appointment for the permanent crown. So far I am very happy with the service that I received. Also, thanks to Melissa and Judy.

Dr. Scott Horovitz great guy

I had a very satisfactory experience at this office. The dentist was very amiable, helpful, and completed the task at hand, a crown repair, very quickly... and, painlessly might I say. I experienced no discomfort in the procedure at all. I am now waiting for the new crown to be made. In the meantime, my temporary plastic tooth is working out just fine. It feels (in my mouth) like the regular crown before i had the mishap. Kudos go to all the staff I met and worked with at this office. They were all very professional and met my needs very well.

This was my first visit to Dr. Horovitz's practice and I was blown away by the great service and wonderful staff. I walked into the clinic on Thursday Feb. 11th to compare costs for dental work between my existing dentist and Coast Dental. It turned out that Coast Dental is less expensive and they offer 0 % financing for 12 months. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse and the following day I had two temporary crowns put in. Today is the day after the procedure and there is no sensitivity or pain. Judy, Melissa and Dr. Horovitz went out of their way to make me feel welcome and it looks like I have a new dentist.

I had a dental emergency and they got me in right away (even though only my daughter has been a patient) and were sweet and caring and professional. Best dental experience I have ever had even with the extraction that needed doing. Thank you so much.

I love coming to the dentist because of this office and the staff that is there. Judy and Ro at the reception desk are the nicest in the business and so helpful when needing to schedule/reschedule our appointments. The hygienist is awesome and he gives the best tips to help keep your gums healthy. Don't even get me started with Doc, he is very nice, and straight forward. No BS or run arounds like I have experience with other Coast Dental offices.

I was in the office on 7/29, to have a cracked filling replaced. Dr Horowitz is always pleasant and explains the procedure as he goes, and Melissa is also very warm and friendly and she too explained the procedure as they went through it. Never any pain and if there is they do NOT induce anymore and quit instantly. I love the welcoming smiles of Judy at the desk and Melissa to do impressions and always gentle hands of Dr. Scott Horovitz! Anxious for surgery on Friday because I know there will be NO pain , just a tugging feeling. I'm not to anxious (very apprehensive!) for the after effects to be expected though.

I've been going to Dr. Horvitzs for almost 10 years now and the service is usually great. It still was, mostly. I was 5 minutes late from another appt but they got me in with no problem. Allen, the hygenist, explained everything carefully and went the procedure with no problems. He did as much to limit the pain even though I knew there would be some anyway. My problem was with the office staff. Normally they are very good but the regular lady was at lunch and the replacement staff member seemed to have no idea what she was doing. It felt like it took longer to get checked out than it did to have the procedure done. In fact the usual lady had to come back from her lunch to get everyone handled expeditiously. Otherwise it went well

I have tried three other dentists since moving to Florida and this is the first one I felt wasn't trying to take advantage of me financially. They also explained things that had never been explained to me before. They totally put me at ease and I felt confident I was getting good dental care.
